We asked Claudia about equity and what factors companies should consider when trying to create an equal opportunity work environment.

The key for Claudia is policies. Do your current policies create a fair opportunity for everyone?

It’s essential to review current policies, bylaws, hiring practices, promotion processes, and how the decision-makers operate.

Looking through all of these factors and changing any policies that may lead to gaps in equity is the best way for companies to be as equitable as possible.
